Meet Kelsy, Creator of Om Is Where the Calm Is

Kelsy is a stepmom, adoptive mom, nurse, and anxiety experiencing human. When it all felt too overwhelming, she turned to a community meditation class. That changed everything.

She learned the power of mindfulness and meditation practices and vowed to bring them to other busy humans with anxiety experiences. Using her own personal experiences, meditation training, unique (and oftentimes dry) humor, real world approach, and antecdotes of raising teenagers, Kelsy offers guided meditation experience you won’t find anywhere else. She believes anyone can use mindfulness in any situation and learn how to move through this wild journey of life, just as it is.

She has about 28 letters after her name indicating her passion to learning. These credentials include nurse, meditation coach, yoga teacher, certified men’s health educator, yoga Nidra facilitator, and somatic healer, but her clients often end up just calling her friend.

Work with Kelsy in her community classes or gather her quirky wisdom from an online course.

“Mindfulness is about experiencing the moment. Even when it sucks.”
