Welcome to the Om is Where the Calm is community

Where every 12 weeks a group of really amazing people get together (virtually) to laugh together, cry together, learn together, and lift each other up. Oh…and learn about a meditation or mindfulness topic.

First we check in.

Every class we check in with each other. It is a safe space to share how our weeks went, our days, our hours. It is a space to be honest and real with like minded people who really do cheer each other on in this life journey.

Then we learn.

We are all teachers. From our check ins, to our supportive responses, to Kelsy’s teachings, these groups are about honoring the teacher within all of us. Each 12 week session is centered around a topic-like gratitude, mindfulness for busy minds, visioning, how to lessen anxiety-to name a few examples. We learn together and grow together.

Then we meditate. Or just talk. Or journal. Or all 3.

There is so much variety to these classes. We often wrap the class time by joining in guided meditation, perhaps a journal prompt or activity, and then we discuss it all.
